Our Mission & Vision

Fact and figures provide proof that several developed economies grew on the back of small businesses and entrepreneurial development.  It stands to reason then that the development of Africa can also be catalyzed by a rise in the number of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial activity.  Entrepreneur Openserve Africa (EOA)’s mission is to be an active and engaged network that breaks down barriers to entry into entrepreneurship by being lowest possible and accessible step in the opportunity value creation chain.  The network therefore simply seeks transform and revitalize access to entrepreneurship and economic landscape.

We envision a future were anyone in Africa can get a business formally registered within their economy, have access to credible business support and network with other entrepreneurs and create employment while contributing to the economy at no additional financial cost than required by regulators.

Founding Beliefs

Africa does not have a shortage of the following groups of people;

  • Funders who are willing to fund uneducated entrepreneurs, a way of throwing away money;
  • Entrepreneurial educators – as there are thousands of schools from which you can learn about entrepreneurship,
  • Motivators and Entrepreneurship coaches as this has become a form of entrepreneurship with millions practicing it,
  • Africa is not short of start-ups and business incubators as can be seen by per nation representation of these,

WHAT AFRICA DOES NOT HAVE ARE ENOUGH PLAYERS AT THE LOWEST END OF THE OPPORTUNITY CREATION VALUE CHAIN.

As Pan African network, EOA is a seeks to bridge this gap.  Its regional approach to expansion enables understanding of local level of context of entrepreneurship and for the network to sustainably grow through local and international partnerships.  The current level of intervention in any nation is therefore local, neighborhood and city based.
